Ten gallon pot was an experiment for size that did well but think the 5 gallon would have performed just as well but the ten gallon could have done better given improved growing environment. I have planted 6 seed potatoes in each (I have 2) and so far they are doing very well. I was able to fold down the pot 1/2 way as directed until the plants get larger and I will fold it back up to add more dirt and keep covering the green for as long as possible. More green covered = more potatoes!Looking forward to seeing how well production is at the end of the year. I will come back to amazon and re-post then. |

The smart pot is a soft sided aeration container that air root prunes your plants. Air root pruning is a key component to a healthy fibrous root ball. Unlike plastic containers, roots do not circle. Instead, air root pruning creates a more fibrous root structure with more root tips. More roots means quicker growth. No circling roots mean better growth. Measures 7-inch length by 7-inch width by 0.5-inch height.
