That is about what they are worth for these reasons. 1. While the enamel blue paint is pretty, it is cracked in several places on every side of the item. This product was made in China, and it shows. 2. Neither of the two planters came with the package of screws necessary to put them together. Hopefully you get the assembly instructions sheet because that has the name of the company, DMC Products, Inc. and the address in Pennsylvania. You have to Google the company name and match to the company's address to find the right website. Once there, there is an online form which you can use to contact them if you need the hardware. Don't bother to try the toll-free number listed because it's been disconnected, and you... I got the blue, and had already planned on painting them white to match my shutters so I cannot attest to any paint problems - mine have 3 coats of outdoor glossy white paint. They did arrive broken and assembly was a nightmare; pieces didn't fit right and cracked easily when barely tightened. As the other reviewer stated, if you can get them for the cheaper price they're very nice. Over $25 - they're not so great a deal. You will be using glue, more screws, etc. to fix them up so be aware of that.Oh, and I never got liners either. They do look great from the street, placed on each side of my front porch, though. Product Description
The Lexington Planters are an example of fine craftsmanship and ultimate quality. Each upright finial is turned on a lathe from one solid piece of wood. All components are smoothly sanded and finished planters are painted with durable UV rated exterior paint. Can be used for direct planting with a plastic liner, or will hold a 12-inch grow pot.
